How We Do It:

1. We believe in your talent, potential and resourcefulness:

We know disability, neurodivergence, and chronic medical conditions can influence the way you think, act and innovate - we celebrate this! Coaching provides a safe space to explore your unique strengths and skills, then build bespoke strategies that work for you specifically, helping you achieve meaningful, sustainable success.

We use a non-directive coaching approach, which means we don’t give you advice. This is because scientifically-robust coaching studies have shown that developing your ability to formulate decisions from within your own thinking can be much more effective and long-lasting than following the advice of others.

This what makes our coaching a life-changing form of professional development. It fosters confidence, self-belief, and shows you that you can create practical, authentic strategies that yield results. This is also how the impact of our work together will continue to serve you well beyond the end of your coaching package.

2. We can adapt to your learning style and work with any goal:

We know how to tailor our approach to suit how you learn best. This could be through open and explorative conversations, more structured and outcome-focused methods, creative or analytical exercises, and psychometrics - in any combination.

Our work is informed by a broad toolkit of evidence-based coaching methods, acquired via coaching training with the University of Cambridge. Whilst we specialise in working with topics and goals relevant to disability, we also know that a goal or challenge might not always be about disability.

Our clients often tell us that working with a coach with lived experience helps them feel safe and understood more quickly and deeply because we live it ourselves too. This builds trust in our working relationship, helping you make progress more efficiently and effectively, to the benefit of your career, business, and your finances.

3. We understand the additional barriers of disability:

Coaching in its purest sense is about the bridging of a gap between where the person being coached is now, and where they would like to be instead. We recognise the unique pressures of living as a disabled person in a society not physically built for us, and where misconceptions prevail, creating additional barriers to success.

  • Acquired disability: this can be a difficult and confusing time, grappling with the change, grieving old ways of working and learning how to adapt to different ways of working due to new barriers to success.

  • The impact of a new environment: For those already experienced with disability, the demands of a new role or project, or a new team might have you in need of new strategies when those tried and tested strategies no longer deliver the results you need.

  • The desire to build your own business: You might be also starting your own business for the first time, a lot of us do (actually 25% of entrepreneurs are disabled) because you want to work in ways that meet your unique and specific skills and help you control the management of your needs too. Many disabled entrepreneurs also find ways to build a business that provides a solution in the market they wish they had access to as disabled people are excellent innovators and problem-solvers.

Why We Do It:

The disabled population makes up the largest minority group in the world, and it is the only minority group anyone can transition into at any time. The disabled community is also a vital part of the economy:

  • In the UK, disabled people and their families control £274 billion in spending power, with this figure rising at 14% per year.

  • Globally, that spending power reaches a staggering $13 trillion, with disabled individuals themselves contributing $1 trillion in disposable income annually.

Different Ways to Work With Us.

We work with anyone that identifies as disabled, neurodivergent or chronically ill, and people with a disabled person to care for outside of work. We also work non-disabled people, as carers, leaders or business owners, people those that understand the value of disabled people, as team members, customers and clients.

Group Coaching Programs:

Group coaching provides a supportive, structured environment where disabled professionals and entrepreneurs can learn, reflect, and grow together. For many disabled people, isolation is a major barrier, be it in a workplace, leading a team, or running a business alone. Group coaching brings people together who “get it”. You’ll share experiences, learn from each other, and develop strategies to achieve success on your own terms.

Unlike training or mentoring, coaching is non-directive, which means we don’t tell you what to do. Instead, we use evidence-based techniques to help you uncover insights and solutions from within. Research shows this builds stronger confidence, motivation, and decision-making that lasts well beyond the end of the sessions.

Group coaching can also enhance traditional learning — for example, following training on leadership or AI adoption, coaching helps participants put new knowledge into practice and stay accountable for applying it in real life.

  • Format: 6 x 90-minute sessions, held fortnightly via Zoom over three months.
